CTEK is one of four businesses shortlisted for Company of the Year, and four businesses listed for Brand of the Year, in these prestigious awards, which are presented to entrepreneurs and companies that have excelled in one way or another, recognising the dedicated employees who have worked purposefully to develop their companies.
The nominees have been selected by Dalarna Business based on proposals received through the dalarnabusiness.se website, through business offices in the county and local business networks. There are a dozen different weighting criteria for each of the Star Awards, including financial and environmental sustainability, product uniqueness and innovation.
The Company of the Year Award recognises companies that demonstrate development, innovation and good economic growth; that show commitment to societal issues and follow society's ethical norms and values; and that is an owner and role model both locally and regionally. The Brand of the Year Award recognises companies who have worked purposefully, strategically, and successfully with their brand, and where the brand and brand work are documented and anchored in the company.

The Star Awards will be presented at the Star Gala on 27 January, at the Quality Hotel Galaxen in Borlänge. There are eight Star Awards being presented in total - Brand of the Year, Youth Entrepreneur of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Export Company of the Year, New Entrepreneur of the Year, Dalaprofil of The Year and Company of The Year.
